I am currently in IM and am trying to find ways to get more traffic to my website. I also currently have Google Adwords. I have written some articles and blogs on free article sites. Can anyone refer me to a post giving good advice to create more traffic to a website? And if I already have Google Adwords, would it be pointless or not worth it to also advertise with Yahoo and their advertising program? Thanks for the help!

Don't use the Yahoo program... it's not worth it.

You can try building some SEO by building links on different websites / forums.

I agree, I tried Yahoo and was disappointed. Buzz marketing is your best bet

SEO will be a big help for you to promote your site. If you learn the basics of it, you will see the result of it for less than a month.

Most likely if you are looking for traffic, you also do not have a monetization plan suitable for PPC. I would recommend good old SEO, trying to rank for various keywords.

As for me, Google Adwords works better than Yahoo Publisher Network in terms of traffic driving.

If you’re using Google Adwords so it is directly proportional to your ROI (return on investment).

Even though, if you’re getting nice conversion with it, it is also better to implement SEO (search engine optimization) strategies along with social media optimization.

Set up a Squidoo lens as my landing page. also set up a hub, a blogger at blogger, and a free wordpress blog. set and forget my squidoo lens but update my blogger blog, hub, and blog every other day or so. link everything back to my Lens. You will see a traffic increase
