hi i would like to ask about marketing with ws ? how many paople have heard of ws domain i would like do marketing for my site but i am not sure how because is not amous someone have idea ?

I don't really understand, how would marketing a *.ws TLD extension differ from another other TLD extension?

sandecki maybe you could writte something more because i dont understand i mean how to make more famous ws .ws you know what i mean you have any logical idea ? is short cut from WS Web Site alternative to com working globally but seems like strange dont you think so ?

.ws doesn't stand for web site. It stands for Western Samoa. If your site is about Western Samoa it makes sense to use a .ws extension. Otherwise it doesn't. For the most part the whole .ws domain market is a complete scam and is best avoided.

hi vangogh thank you so much for information hmm i knew that from www.ws.ws and they said that in few years could be as com they said on their page that is realy from western samoa as you said but can be translated as Web Site can be ? hmm so you think that i should change domain ?

and yes it really is. -> http://www.iana.org/domains/root/db/ click on the "W" no matter what somebody with a vested interest tries to make you believe.

Grzegorz I'd go with another domain if you could. .ws doesn't not have a good reputation. The company behind the scam (GDI?) will tell you anything to get you hooked into their scam. If you search their name you'll find a lot more complaints than usual.

.ws is always going to be the country specific code. It's not now nor is it going to be associated with the word website.

as you know my site www . istudent . ws got logo already so i have to chnge logo and everything ?

you know but how about?? i mean maybe if my site become famous so people will not care about is com or ws or net or com.au etc they will put adres and ws and they will go to great website with alotof useful information and you know maybe they users dont care what you all think ??

i got experience with another website from my country (now the biggest in poland 12000 visitors every day about snakes and animals before was www.dfgdhhg . ht.pl and now we got .com and com.pl and ht.pl ht is crap in poland and people didnt care tehy just go ht.pl because they got many information what they like and after we bought com you know what i mean ??

another things is i did everything and i can not find free com or com.au etc you know what i mean my site is about education in australia and for students and so famous so how can i find something about students.com. ?? etc someone have any ideas ?? i mean i try to find and i can have as istudent4 or istudenttt etc but is crapy i have not idea for cool domain ehh what can i do now

You mean GDI? Well, the same as promoting other affiliate programs.
For instance, build a review squidoo page and drive traffic to it.

It's hard to promote GDI now. I'm using a marketing system called
spiderweb system. You can PM me about that.
