hi, i am new to seo and traffic analysis. i am running a website about money making in online. i wish to know how many visitors come into my site.

Is there any tool????

Your site logs, Google Analytics, StatCounter, HitWise, SiteMeter, GoStats plus many many others.

Sites logs will be good. But I prefer 2 tools. Google Analytics, for more specific data and results of the traffic of my site and Statcounter for a real-time traffic results.

Go check them both.

I stick to using google analytics and awstats... (I like awstats because it pads your stats, so they look a lot better than they really are - nothing like a good ego boost

)

Regarding your comment about awstats, So do you have any plans of selling your site based on what a 'stats' program offers? I hope no one believes in just one counter...That's a downfall, BIG TIME But I guess it's good to 'look' better than you really do, especially online where no one knows.

Google and statcounter work the best. I like statcounter because you can block your own ip address so if you are testing different page designs it will not show as a visitor. May be google has this option but not sure how to set it up.

try awstats, its a server based traffic analytics.

one of the good tools that I am using. I try to use two or three tools for my sites to have a better idea of the traffic that is coming in to my site, their results are quite different but they give me a nice report. these tools are GA, awstats and statcounter. those tools can also give a nice overview of whats giving you traffic.

Google Analytics is better option then other it will tell you whole information about your site.

Google Analytics is great. Its has benchmarking feature what most tools doesn't have. If you are using Adwords you can merge Adwords with Analytics.
