Wasn't sure where to post this so put it here, appologies if its in the wrong place.

My website was ranking very well for a number of search terms but over the last week its been bymped down at least 10 pages in google for every page.

This is a general question but does anyone have any idea whats going on, like why the site has suddenly been hammered on the rankings?
The mortgage market is on its arse at the moment and new leads are hard to find although I was getting a reasonable amount of leads generated organicaly through Google which, due to the site being hammered has stopped (hardly any page views over the last week and no enquiries)

The site is www.bakerfinancial.co.uk

Any ideas or suggestions would be very welcome

Easy, people have been competing more than you have lately. The ones above you probably updated their site, added content, and worked on a few more backlinks!

Thanks for the reply but I could have come up with that answer myself, if I thought thats what it was, some fluctuation is normal but 10 and 15 pages deep is not- I have been adding new pages, getting more links and updating the site.

I will more than likely end up having to pay someone who knows what they are talking about (more than me) to fix the problem as I think someone has been a little less than honest with the site.
The cached page doesn't show right for the search terms, what I mean is I checked which page has been cached and its not highlighting the search queries on the cached page (if you know what I mean) and a copyscape search showed some weird stuff, along with some other checks I have done I think someone has done something that deserves a kicking
