i can give you also a website that help you do do semiautomatic submissions for "free" but i'm not sure it helps! i submitted to some 20 directories and now i'm waiting to see if i get even one visit from those websites!

usually this submitters are own by people who have a lot of directories (20, 100 ???) i don't know and i read you can loose a lot because many of them are hosted on the same ip!

To get more backlinks, there are several ways -
1.Forum Posting
2.Social Bookmarking
3.Blog Commenting and
4.Article Submission
These all can help you for getting backlinks.

linxboss.com is a very good link building source, also they wont delete your backlinks if you leave this network. This is a very good option for time saving , you just need to choose the keywords and let them do their work. also dripfeedblasts.com is another option but dont try it on very new sites, because you could be sand boxed with all those links sent per month

Posting lots of Blog Comments to Dofollow High PR Blogs are a good technique to lots of quality backlinks

I think those links are good back links which receive clicks also.

Directory submission may not give click but just a link.

Here is what I do! I create my webpage, I then ping it, then I social bookmark it, directory summit it, and focus on building on going links, from blog commenting, forums, social sites. Doing this will get my pages index in matter of hours and I have seen it where I would be on the first page of google in 24hrs.

I do both manual & automated social bookmarking. You can also add blog commenting, article submission and forums as well.
