Does anyone know or can anyone help compile (with suggestions etc) a list of the mainstream core methods of getting free legitimate (targeted) traffic without breaking any of the fundamental laws of information-sharing?
UK ONLY, nothing from ANYWHERE else, please. I can deal with stuff beyond Calais another time.
Here are my initial ideas, I don't know if any of them are wrong, and don't work, or only work if you pay:
1. Press Marketing (but I haven't googled any press release sites for ages, I don't know how many or which are the main ones)
2. Search engine listings (limited and controlled by forces beyond your own business, regardless of how many people make illegitimate money on the false premise that that is not so)
3. I've run out of ideas.
Can I also respectfully ask that no discussion of advertising via social networks or similar networks be suggested here, because that's not what I want to put on this list.
