I have tried a few press release sites for announcing a new web site which provides reviews and improved product summaries for various ebooks and software products. The result was very poor, no increased web traffic.

Hence my question: Are there any good press release sites which are actually worth their money, or which are free? So far I have used the following ones which were advertised as free press release sites (though some aren't free!):

The only one I use is PRWeb and I pay the money.. It's the only that consistently gets the release everywhere it needs to be.. That is assuming that you are using a press release what is menat to be for not just another link building tool..
