Okay, so i baught a ton of paid traffic from a couple of members on another forum. Something stupid like $2 for 10,000 uniques from one guy and $5 for 5,000 from the next.

I am seeing a nice increase in traffic, but as of yet no sales. The only thing really going up is bandwidth usage.

I am starting to wonder whether this is really any good, i mean, what are the benefits of paid traffic?

Care to share your experiences?

Of course there aren't any sales.. Random traffic is worthless..

Those are useless bot traffic, not real people generally. Even if real people, they would be paid to visit your site. So you can imagine why you did not receive any other.

Few tips:
- do on-page seo
- get links from related sites
- learn how you can do ppc campaigns effectively.

lol yeah welcome to the world of bought traffic, you have to be carful as some of it is a complete rip off, we have all tryed it and all found it doesnt work, if its cheap and you think the deal is too good to be true, then it no doubt is !

Ppc traffic is the best, but even this has its drawbacks with click fraud, and check out the cost of ppc traffic, u will see its very expensive, as you get what you pay for

Congratulations, You just got ripped off.

You got ripped is what happened. Think about it. Those visitors are only looking at your site for 10 seconds so they can earn $0.005 on some PTC site. Luckily you only lost the money you spent. You could have purchased spam traffic which would be worse cause you would be getting threatening letters asking why your link is being spammed in people's forums and blogs.
