I am the webguy at a website that just opened its doors this past year. I have spent many hours building links, blogging and commenting on different articles and forums in my expertise to build my page ranking and serp. Could somebody give me feedback on getting involved with sponsored listings. I have been hesitant to run other ads on my site because I am not educated with the process and the results.

Are you looking to advertise or display ads on your site? I'm not quite sure I'm following which you're interested in.

Sponsoring listing on search engines? Probably you are looking for AdWords or Yahoo Search Marketing?

I am inquiring about running ads on my site for the reciprocal ads I would get on other sites. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm still not following. Just because you run ads on your site doesn't mean you get ads on other people's sites. Is there a specific service you want to use that says for each ad you display you get one back from another site? If so we'll need to know what services in order to be able to offer any advice.

In general advertising on someone else's site and displaying ads on your site are two different things.
