Hello,

I'm owner of site which have more than 50,000 registered users and they give their emails by registration.

Now, I need to send them announcement but the problem is, I don't have software which can send 50,000 emails at once.

If anybody can help, write best solutions here.

Software should have:

- Groups (also, tagging users would be perfect)
- HTML templates
- Importing list from file (xml, csv...)

You could create a php script to loop through the emails/xml and send them out.

PM me if you want it, (I would publicly post it, but its also a great tool for spamming).

But of course be very aware that you will NOT be able to send out that many emails at once. Your host should have mail sending limits per hour per host. Unless you have a dedicated server that you can change the limits on of course.

You could install phpList and batch send the messages assuming your server has PHP and MySql capabilities.

Alternatively use a hosted mailing list, some listed in this post

I use mail list controller by arclab. Great bit of software and it has automated removal list handling. It runs as a process in the background and as I have a my own SMTP server in a datacentre so I can send emails out in serious rapid fire.

well it's not just about a piece of software, it's about if your hosting allow you do that. Most shared hosting don't allow you to email to your no. of members at once. so you may need to split your list in to 10-20 pieces to avoid triggering of a spam filter.

personally I recommend you use autoresponse plus. this is the one I am using on my hosting server and it has function like import databases, multiple email list management, auto follow ups, email subscription forms, broadcast link and open rate tracking. It is quite powerful. do a search in Google and you will know.

There are loads of free mailing list managers on hotscripts.com - just make sure they have a feature called "throttling" which allows you to specify how many are sent out at a time.

arclab has a throttling feature but no need, just rent a virtual server dirt cheap and setup a SMTP server on it. I have a dedicated server but there is no reason it wont work with a virtual server that i can see.
