Hello all....I use an email blasting software for my clients and newsletter and this is what happened: I was at my mother's house and accidentally used the wrong server (I do my marketing on a diff. smtp server) and after I did that when I sent emails to my mother's email address (with the isp she is with) she would not receive my emails. I called my domain's company and they said there was no problem on their end as I did tests and my emails went through. I called my mom's isp service and they said there was nothing wrong but to email this email address for "blocked" accounts and they never responded but the weird thing is when I send my mother email's, they go through if I send it from the "online backend" of godaddy rather through my MS Outlook.

To make things worse...I have a client who uses TimeWarner and he doesn't get my emails now either! Again...it works if I log-in on the backend but not through my outlook. Is there a port being blocked? I appreciate the responses as I don't know what to do and I need my main email address to send to clients. Thanks so much for your help and I appreciate everyone's feedback!

Your IPs/hostname have been black listed as a spammer with the "blackhole" lists.

Yep I agree. If you send out any kind of mass e-mails you are running the risk of having your e-mail address back listed. Here's a solution: don't e-mail spam people.

btw, it shows up as going through on my side but the other end never receives it and I never get any "rejected" response! Again, it goes through when I email it with GoDaddy's backend....thanks again in advance for the help and time with this!

That is why they are called blackhole lists.. And it's also why I never run any newsletters or bulk emails through personal accounts.. Always use a service unless you like to fight with nameless spam vigilantes..

I know....but how come it only blocks me from outlook no matter what internet service provider i'm using? I can send it from the backend. How can I get off of this "blacklist??"

Sounds more like you broke something in outlook.. If you can send from a web interface then the mail server isn't blocked..

I'd install Thunderbird real fast and see if it is still blocked through that mail program.. If it is still blocked then the problem is likely that the ISP is stopping the mail clients from connecting to their mail servers.. If it's not blocked then you have an outlook issue..

Feydakin,

Thank you very much for your response and help. It is very weird because my Outlook works to send emails to other email addresses, but only (so far that I know of) cox and timewarner customers do not receive my emails but everyone else does...my other email accounts that are not from the one I am using is working too...maybe godaddy's email server from the backend is different from the one provided in outlook?

Also....would for example cox be able to send a "script" to my outlook or something in that sorts? I will test the suggestions you gave me and get back to you but I truly appreciate the help as this is an annoying matter. Thanks buddy.

You won't believe it! It has something to do with my signature. When I remove or change my signature then the email goes throguh to my cox account. How weird!!! How the hell do they filter that based on my signature?

There will be words that are spam related so whatever filtering they are using blocks it
