Ok, so you think I'm having a go at your "tool" because I don't have happen to have one.

Ok then let us know how you go on when Google blocks your IP for sending automated requests.

I cant believe that someone intelligent enough to build a site that looks (and works like that) can actually believe that the information is correct...!

I did have a laugh though when seeing that my (main) site made around $2 today when the end of day banking total said £4,561.12 ...?

Must have been be a loose wire for the connection to Barclays...

well this is were the myth is some sites you may get accurate but some very wrong..as I mentioned in my earlier post ..this is the area we were working on..once again no one can perfect not even close initially but....can be do it later or improve at least...that's why my site says "beta"

@chrishirst why are you so negative always?? I have seen your reply in many posts..anyway I am getting visits from 49 countries ...and my bounce rate is below 25%. if you see feedmyapp,wwwhatsnew,dotpod.com.ar,web2app,every one is mentioned positive and almost 80% are getting almost accurate results!!!

Even if google blocked me I wont be in trouble except my backlinks and may be gbot access get blocked but major data is still available to public...

I have invested months(full time) for this tool for research and development...and I am giving it for free so instead of supporting why you try to degrade it??

And this is the point that Chris is arguing with...

It doesn't matter how much you improve or update.. The value figure can only ever be down to a formula that has to be created in the first place. Taking in factors such as visits multiplied by "your formula" equals site value.

This can NEVER be accurate!? How can it?

1 visit by a customer may spend £100 while another customer spends £1000 ??

I am not being negative. I am being realistic. I could go and use your "tool" right now on any of the sites I own or run and it is NOT going to show me any thing that is "useful".

Can it show how many visitors there was in the last hour/day/week?
Can it show where they came from?
Can it show me how many pages they viewed?
Can it show what products they looked at?
Can it tell me if they came from a search engine and what word or phrase they used?

Nope! It can tell me none of those. Sure, it can suggest completely useless things such as the "alexa rank", the imaginary toolbar PR, the totally inaccurate "backlink count". Then, from these useless numbers it purports to calculate a monetary value for the entire site based on visiting and "analysing" the "home" page.

Here at WMT you are in the "big boys playground" not the "cork floored kindegarten slides". Many of us have been working on websites well before the Internet became full of myths about what is "important".
So we are not fooled by the likes of compete.com and quantcast, we fail to be dazzled by the bright green bar and are less than impressed by Alexa rank.

So by all means, you be impressed by the adoration of the newbies and numpties at where ever, but please don't come here, pee on our shoes and then try to tell us that it's raining, because it simply won't work.

Sure, you carry and "improve your tool" but be aware it has no real use other than momentary entertainment for those who haven't learned their way around yet.
