Hi...
I got this hockey website - http: // penschat.com. I have OpenX and currently I have only 3 different ad zones on it. For some reason sometimes when I load the site, it gets hijacked with ads. Sometimes it has a huge popup for the website shopingproject.com which might have spyware and sometimes it's reported by both Google Chrome and Firefox as an attack site.
It's been happening for a few weeks now but because I've been busy I haven't dealt with it, and also it wasn't happening too frequently, but obviously I can't allow this to happen. I updated the site tonight and just got redirected to run.av1-best-click.info which seems to be some kind of spyware or virus site. Firefox is reporting it as an attack site. WTF!
As I said I have OpenX and 3 different ad zones but only 1 of them right now is rotating with different ads. I have ads from Adsense, WidgetBucks.com (which I think is a totally legit site), Commission Junction and LinkShare.
What is the culprit and what can I do to get rid of this garbage and make sure it never happens again?
