This is just one way: create a site and write about something you have expertise in/are passionate about. Build up traffic to your site. Monetise that traffic in some way or other. Note that you need the traffic before you can do any monetisation. The monetisation may take different forms, but the be all and end all is the traffic. Generally, the more traffic you get the greater the likelihood of success - though not always.
If you write lacklustre rubbish that can be found anywhere - as most website owners do - you will probably fail. Hence the need to write about things you are passionate about or have expertise in.
Another idea is to buy and run an existing website that currently makes a profit - but I'd only recommend doing that when you've learnt the ropes (perhaps from the above adventure). |
