How do you build a targeted network on facebook and twitter accounts? Again, keyword being targeted.

Hi,

Interact with the folks has the same interested niche. Provide useful and informative information along with promoting your site. You can also join relevant niche group on such networking sites. First build reputation by solving problems of people by answering their question and giving useful information.

Agreed. Also, post links to articles of related items. If you are targeting animal lovers, RT links to your local zoo or pet training workshops. Talk about other people (nicely) and they will be more apt to follow you.

Add friends who have similar interests, or appear to the type of person/business that would have an need for your service.

Twitter... In my case, you can drive some direct traffic. Unluckily, the link to our site is rel="nofollow"

. It's didn't help your ranking much. But it's much better than facebook since I prefer Twitter simplicity... IMHO

With Twitter you can get a lot of targeted traffic by meeting others in your niche, interacting genuinely, and not spamming.
