Targeted??? are you kidding????

The StumbleUpon "userbase" are mostly bored people who are simply looking for something to distract them for a few seconds.
Chris, don't you see !?
They have all a case of "common sense blindness". (AKA "a DP guru told me, so it's the truth")
They still seems to think that everything that have been made on the web is for optimizing the clicktrough and the payout of their "cialis enhanced natural fast weight loose erection enhancer pill" affiliate landing page.
They don't get that people use stumbleupon just to discover new site, and surely not that you can give a commercial site a thumb down.
I mean, it's unethical, right ?

Riiight...

Maybe it's contagious. We should run away from this thread, as fast as we can, throwing our arms in the air.
It's the only sane thing to do.

What do you mean by stumble upon review added on your page. Can you make clear of it so that we too will benefit from this.

Hi,

I have used SM sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and many more. I have also heard about Stumbleupon and reading the discussion here I also want to join them.

Thanks,
James

I am just about to try DIGG and Stumbleupon but it seems like they are just tools to ram up our website statistics. Perhaps it is useful for people who flip websites.

I agree with Chris here.

Bookmarking sites tend to only drive traffic from people are interested in the article you have written.

If your page requires signup or some form of payment for something else, These sites are more than useless.

I've been trying my hardest to get good visitors and they only tend to come from things like Adwords where the user was at least searching for something similar.

I still think getting front page of google, bing, yahoo or any one of them for the keywords you hold dearest is the next best thing since sliced bread
- How to do the above is the tricky bit tho

I recently thought about buying traffic but seeing this post and replys to my post about it has convinced me this isnt the way.

Web2.0 site have lots of users and all you have to do is filter your search on people using them for their interests and hobbies. Doing this can give you targeted visitors.
