Use wordpress plugins for SEO: All-in-one SEO pack, auto-twitter, auto-onlywire, etc.

Write articles linking to your blog. Submit RSS feeds to directories.

You may put interesting quality contents and promote your blog by commenting other blogs related to your site and the rest will follow. Sharing your blogs to online friends also helps.

When I had a blog I got a lot of traffic simply exchanging links with other blog owners. Also submitting it to directorys and sites such as blogcatalog, bigblogcollection, bloghub etc. Post your link on social networking sites - twitter, myspace, facebook are always good for things such as blogs.

For long term success, you should constantly update your blog. Make sure that your ping list is updated and submit your blog to feedburner, etc.

If you look at all the successful blogs, they all have updated posts.

once you made your post on wordpress, you post it on the blog site (if you have some) after 3 days from the time you made your post on wordpress.

why to start business if you still don`t know how to promote it? Isn`t it better to hire professiona blogger?

I'd say write a blog on a subject you know about and that people will want to read !

But don't forget that there are already thousands of blogs out there, all wanting to make money, so I don't fancy your chances, unless you have some very interesting articles.

Post your blog links to different sites wherever it is possible mainly target those places which are related to your niche. Do forum posting , many forum sites allows links in signature make the use of it, use social bookmarking sites like digg , eZdia etc. Also Some social networking sites like facebook etc. These are some ways to start with

I think adding fresh content is the natural method to increase traffic. Social bookmarking, link building etc are also very helpful to build traffic.
