You have two paths you can take.

Focus on the SEO game, optimize your pages, increase your link exposure...and maybe get lucky with an algorithm.

Or you can focus on building a brand that people come back to for offering quality relevant content.

Less than 2% of the traffic on my blog comes from the search engines. It's mainly viral traffic and people linking to me. That's the way to go in my opinion. A sustainable brand that will be around when Google decides to rejig it's calculations.

Post on my space, twitter , Facebook and like other social networks your blog posts titles with the link. This should drive some traffic.
