Hi guys,
I need some suggestions on what to target for keywords..

For instance, If you search google or bing etc for
real time live support software

My site comes on first page, generally near the top. ( imsupporting.com )

However i dont know what keywords to target and if the above is really any use?

What would you guys suggest for keywords
IE: what would you search for to find a site like mine?

Its a site that provides companys with one of those "click here to talk to us buttons "

I fear i may be targeting the wrong keywords.

Thanks
Graham

You can't just pick keywords and expect them to help. The keywords have to be in your content and titles as well. This might be helpful when looking http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/ it tells you what words come up the most in your page and what your keyword relevancy is

i suggest that you use market samurai tool. it offers a trial period for in depth keyword research. then, choose keywords that have at least 100 traffic per day, weak in competition(seotc) and has less than 30,000 competitors(seoc)..

Your target keywords are perfectly fine, I just checked your tags, better stick to them. Changing them won't do any good at all for it'll require new linkbuilding activities.

Hi,

I thought as much.

Ive been checking against these keyword searches and it seems ( i dont think ) i can do much more seo on the keyword side of things anymore.

Looks like im gonna have to try linkbuilding somehow.

Analyze and do research of which keywords to use that involves on what kind of business you have and the benefits you offer your customers.

You may use WordTracker.

I would search for a keyword phrase like this: "your own customer support system."

I find this tool very helpful, I was given this regarding my websites http://designm.ag/resources/website-analytics-toolbox/

Then go down the page and click on seo analysis tool from seo workers, I managed to get 100% on one of my sites, the keywords have to match the content.

I hope you find this helpful, on this website there is also very helpful other tools.

Hi lynxus! Try to use the Google keyword adwords tool they suggested.
But before you even try to use it, try to brainstorm first with someone else on what are the possible main Keywords that is best for your site.
After that you use the tool to get more keyword phrases (3 to 4 words per KW) that are not so much highly competitive. They go over your page again to see if you can revise it for optimization.
