(Sorry for my not good level of English)

I want to develop a site which is about constructing premises for
professionals such as dentists for instance. I would like to propose some companies which are dealing with that issues and put links for their websites in my own one.

I know that if i pass a certain limit of traffic i can get paid by how many people are clicking on the links. But how i can persuade those companies in the beginning of developing my site?? Is there a way to do that??

(Sorry for my not good level of English)

You can't.

You have to develop the site and the traffic first.

Thanks for your reply!

The website would be based initially on references for other companies but how I could know that for sure there are going to be interested after generating some traffic to my site??

If i know from the very beginning that it would be like this, then I will have better incentives to develop my website.

What you suggest me to do??

Maybe if I start with another idea to increase traffic and then gradually transforming my site to what I was really intended to do and put links for the companies?? Or it does not matter at all and I just have to develop my current idea, wait and after start to contact the owners of the other sites??? It s not so interested the last option for me because it does not provide any certainty.

Like all business ventures, it's a chance you take when starting up.

You are not going to start off and hit the ground running, a business has to walk first.

There are no guarantees. IF you have no incentive to start the business and actually be prepared to WORK at it becoming a success, the DON'T even start it because you will fail!!

Establish first a good reputation on the web before those companies will give you a second thought.

In order to receive, first you have to give, specially in the beginning.

You have to give your visitors a good reason for visiting your site by giving them (free) information about other people's products/services to start things rolling.

In order to do this you will have to provide the companies who provide these products/services (free) exposure so that your visitors will be able to find something of value with useful content which will make them come back for more.

When you get the enough visitors that will justify getting paid for these services, let these companies know in advance that you will start charging for these services after an specific amount of time.

Just make sure not to overcharge these companies or they will simply take their business some place else. Just start charging a small fee and start increasing it very slowly depending on the demand for your referral service.

Good luck!
