So i have a blog i have posted about 60 short but well written posts on by now, all good keyword integrated etc.
I have a following of about 600 on facebook, 300 on twitter but i am only getting about 40-50 uniques a day.

I have seen other sites of a similar quality to mine with a similar ammount of content that are doing so much better.

I have a basic understanding of seo and marketing. I have done loads of submissions to sites (useless), link trading is hard . . .

Is there a respectable company out there that can help me?
I don't mind making a small investment as i have made a massive £7 with this blog!

you could try writing some content for article directories unless that's what you meant by submissions to sites.

I'm been using Google Alerts... it is so nice because you will be receiving alerts through email when there will be new post related to the targeted keyword you specified.

Yup.. thats.. correct infact i am getting traffic for my website and signups to my autoresponder for just using google alert ... if you have visiting my website previously .. then you already attract by the google alert system .. it kinda interesting ..

You can try making an article marketing campaign (this really drives traffic), or hire a freelancer who is expert on the area (seo)

You need to have little patience to start earning from any source. This also depends upon what type of Affiliate Program you use and is it suitable for you. Like i am a Forex Trader therefore i use a Forex Affiliate. This has been paying me good results from a long time.

Won't lie. I'm getting atleast 50 alerts a day & spending(or wasting for some ppl) about an hr just to check those sites. does it help? oh well, it helps more with all sites(of clients or our own) then watching tv & wasting time.

for SEM: you can promote on free classified ads, youtube, social bookmarking sites and many other things
