· No SERP at all for the search strings like:
lingerie yorkshire, adult shop yorkshire, sexshop yorkshire
chloe yorkshire, chloe's yorkshire, chloe's secrets yorkshire,
lingerie secrets yorkshire, naughty secrets yorkshire,
Neither do you return for the same strings, replacing yorkshire with shipley.
The only search term you return for is 'chloes naughty' (and you PAID for that?!).
Also I notice you aren't even in any of the business directories which do appear for those search terms. Lots of other yorkshire lingerie shops do though.
· SEO is made more difficult because you have no written content.
What about love tips / relationship advice / sexy stories / item reviews / personal ads
Give these products some context and pre-sell, then refer & link to items in the articles.
Give the user the feeling that you are an sex/relationship expert and that you and your friends use all this stuff yourselves. Make it feel normal, fun and adventurous. To be honest, I don't even really like the phrase 'naughty secrets' in the name (it's too 1980's playboy or Benny Hill). Haven't younger generations grown out of that mindset?
· No romance or seduction in the site at all. The style is 'tacky backstreet sex shop'.
· Many items have no proper, sensuous, revealing description; missed opportunity for emotional arousal and pre-sell. The bridal items are quite well described - do that for the others.
· Images must not be squashed - it makes the models/lingerie look really bad.
· Buying can be embarrassing; you've made little attempt to reassure customers or make them feel safe. Eg. explain how the items will appear on the credit card bill as 'chloe's gift shop' and that the packaging will be neutral and private.
· Search/browse experience is not too good. Perhaps you have too many items; maybe it would be best only to put your highest quality specialities on the online shop to begin with. As already stated, you can't compete with the already established businesses, so find a niche or speciality. Also, someone searching for simple lingerie will feel embarrassed when an 'anal intruder' suddenly appears on their screen; try to separate the normal lingerie from the sex-toys and crotchless thongs.
· No attempt to drive people to the brick-n-mortar shop.
· No special offers, reductions or bargains.
· I've no confidence in plugging my credit card details into this site. The 'seedy' look to it has connotations of poor quality and possible fraud.
· No newsletter subscription (very important to collect email addresses whenever possible).
· No easy method or encouragement to book a 'party'.
· No 'link' between the people running the brick-n-mortar shop and this online shop. I'm sure you're friendly, helpful and reassuring when people enter your real shop. Why do you think that isn't necessary when people come to your virtual shop? What about an image of the real shop, and maybe of yourself - smiling, welcoming and trust-worthy? Maybe a short, personal introduction saying how much people will enjoy this experience, and how much you look forward to making them happy.
Good luck. Don't give up.
Just imagine the amount of cost, work & time you'd thought it would be, and times by five.
