I'm thinking about investing in an internet marketing mentoring service:
http://thekeywordacademy.com
A year's membership would set me back 737$ (monthly rate of 67$).

My main goal is to have an income of 1000€ per month spending only 5-10 hours per week working (in the evenings after I come home for my main job).

Anyone here had any experience with Keyword Academy?
Any advice?

My main reason for thinking about this is that I've joined several forums, but:
· the information is often conflicting
· slow responses to questions
· the more specific my question, the less chance there is of someone answering

It's getting too frustrating. I've put a hundred hours into researching online marketing and potential business ideas so far, and haven't got very far with regard to building a coherent plan of action or how to actually successfully market my ideas.

Cheers.

Signing with http://www.seoresearchlabs.com/ , http://www.highrankings.com/forum/in...unce&f=11&id=3 or http://www.searchenginecollege.com/ would be far more beneficial

Before you blow that kind of money on mentoring, have you looked at the different training sites like LeadSystemPro or Jonathan Budds Mastermind group? Those are relatively inexpensive considering all the information and training that they offer.
I pay 49 dollars a month for Leadsystempro, but I feel that it's money well spent. They bring in the experts to do the training in whatever niche that you're interested in, like PPC, SEO, Social Network marketing, and you name it, the information is always recorded and kept in the back office for use as a constant refresher.

Thanks for the links.

Can you perhaps explain why they would be better?
They are actually a lot more expensive for what you appear to get.
Also, the sites aren't nicely done at all (which is a bit weird?).
I've seen lots of similar sites and would normally just ignore them.

I got to the Key Word Academy through two blogs who were saying different things about internet marketing but both made very good sense. They are of course affiliates for KWA, and their blogs were sales copy, but even taking that into account, what they were saying was very refreshing and appeared to be free of bullsh*t. For example, they were clear that it will probably take a year of working 15 hours a week to slowly attain a €800 per month income, and that you'd have to keep on working at it after that (no such thing as completely passive income).

And it all seems quite transparent. From the bloggers and reading the info on KWA, I know that their method revolves around:

· keyword research (their own software)
· niche sites
· micro-sites (using hubpages and infobarrel) with funnels and intra-linking
· quality sales copy
· their own guest-posting network

I can't say the same for seoresearchlabs or searchenginecollege.
They are not open about what methodologies or techniques they teach.

Thanks for indulging my ignorance.

Ah well, sadly they only teach how to build sites for users that can convert into sales.

Rather than vague promises of thousands of adsense clicks once you've have acheived "number one rankings in Google" for some "keyphrase".

Their "calculations" are about as reliable as "KEI" or "Alexa rankings".
