Any webmaster that is trying to increase traffic to their site would be wise to take a holistic approach. anyway, lets put this to rest for once and all, the only thing that will increase good quality traffic is good quality content, look at your bookmarks and think about the sites you have booked, think about the sites you visit everyday, they probably don't spam forums etc to get visitors, they spend time creating good interesting unique content, the big sites, CNN, BBC, they didn't employ Mr Patels SEO company to spam forums with links to their content, same as any good site, spend more time on creating GOOD INTERESTING UNIQUE CONTENT and the vsitors will come.
