I need suggestions as I have created a twitter account and my followers are very less.
Then how can I improve my followers and can increase them.

Is it possible to drive targeted traffic on my website from the twitter?

make the maximum number of followings. and start doing good posting on twitter. people will follow you themselves.

Ya I am going on the same track but there is a ratio that must be followed by the members and mostly it got happening that the ration between followers and following is dramatically very less.

Her are some tips to to increase followers in twitter:

1. Don't send more tweets, no matter what the topic. If you send lots of tweets all day long, people will start avoiding your tweets and not read them.

2.Send interesting tweets. Send tweets that no one else does. Send tweets that your followers love.

Tweet consistently. Encourage people to retweet your posts with @yourname tag.

Link your twitter profile everywhere and also word of mouth is good way.

Following people like a sheep will not give you any targeted followers.

if you want to drive targeted traffic to your website from the twitter, the first thing you should do is that get more followers. If you want to get more followers you should write some good content which your followers are interest in.

You can actually put twitter updates from your website via any twitter apps.
There is a lot of tools to make a lot of followers but you got to make sure that those followers will also be interested in your tweets to make your Twitter campaign successful.

You can add your twitter account to http://www.wefollow.com. I've added mine and it has really helped.
