The best way i would say is to post on blogs and forums and classified ads because it is will give you free traffic but it takes tons of time and time is money so say your selling ipod's and stuff like that i would go with a business that offers CPA "cost per action" you can pick from paying when a costumer submits a email or when a costumer submits a credit card this is the best way becasue you only pay for traffic that does what you want them to do. you will get 1000's of views per day and only pay when you make a sale or get a email do some research on businesses offering CPA advertising read reviews ect.

This type of traffic is rather hard to get in large quantities, because most serious traffic sources prefer CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) and CPC (cost per click) payment models.

Both ways are important. You can get good traffic from free submissions but paid submissions are also important for traffic.

Exactly on my thoughts ubservers, variety is always the best method. I don't agree though with buying links or link exchange, but that's just my belief.

Paid advertisement is always good as compare to free advertisement because in paid advertisement your link will be highlighted & because of this the visitors will see your link & visit on your site. But the most important thing is on which site you have putted your advertisement.

Always put your ad in thous sites who have a good permanent traffic & the most important is the site will be related to your site subject.

Well it really depends on your budget. if you are short in the budget go for free but with huge budget go for paid but the result may varies.

There are a lot of advertising sites on the world wide web, you just have to search it then put you link to those site, most of them are free. so you should try them out.

You can go to related websites that have huge traffic and if they have paid advertisement. You can grab that. But if you want it to be free there are also ways to advertise. Article marketing is one of the great ways.
