Hello,
When I create a new article and post it in my blog, then I submit it to social bookmarking sites. I usually submit about 40 social bookmarking sites.
My question is,
how often do I submit to these social bookmarking sites?
should I break them to submit 10 social bookmarking sites per day?
or
should I submit all 40 social bookmarking sites a day?
Which method is better to index my site or blog?

When you make a new blog / article submit it to wherever and whenever.
It wont make any difference unless someone likes your post.

It shouldn't matter how many you submit it to in one go.
( Theres no google blocking just because suddently your post is on xx amount of sites )

It takes some kind of special amount of spamming to get blocked, Even then im not entirely sure if its complete block.

You should submit your links every day. You write something in your blog, you must share it.

Social Bookmarking is very effective in increasing the ranking of the sites...the bookmarking should be done of all the web pages on the niche sites of bookmarking wherein people diggs and gives out the thumbs up which helps to increase the ranking hence it is surely helpful..doing 30-35 bookmarking for a site will surely help within 15 days or so...

I think you should submit your site to social bookmarking everyday, but notice that just submit to social sites that can approve your sites fast. How many? Oh, this depends your decision, but the average number is about 40 sites.

never heard about average number is 40 sites for submission of social book marking and we can submit every page of site in social book marking

there is nothing wrong submitting it to 40 social bookmarking sites in one day, I think... But it is good to submit it just every time there is updates on your blog for faster indexing.

You can submit to as many social bookmarking sites as many times as you want. Just dont submit the same content too often or it will just get ignored.

everytime i post an article to directories or to my blogpost i always submit it to social book marking sites.

but... wait google indexed your page first then submit it to social bookmark
cause google will indexed you as duplicate content, if you not wait

The more, the better. There's no limit in submitting to social bookmarking sites. Links from SB sites are designed to drive traffic, not to build backlinks.

I think its really up to your capabilities, on posting it on bookmarking as long as you can maintain it. There is no specific number on off page as its quality post.

I usually submit to 5-10 everyday. I have a list of abt 50 sites so i repeat everytime i finish The list. takes me about a week, so it gives my links about a week to sink and not look spammy.

There is no problem in submitting your new article in 40 social bookmark sites in one day. I am submitting my article on two social bookmark sites that is digg & twitter. This two is enough for me because i get sufficient traffic from this sites only & i no need to submit my article in any more sites.

I would say constantly if you have a network of sites/web 2.0 properties that you can promote. There is no reason why you can't bookmark 11 different websites (rotating their inner pages) at a constant rate 24/7.
