Hi Guys,

I have a fair bit of traffic to my site ( See sig )
However i must say only about 5% actually ever sign up.

Am i doing something wrong? Could i change something on the site to help increase the conversion ratio?

Id say 80% of my visitors are organic,
Ie:
They come from SE's searching for live chat software or live support software etc.
I get a fair few people visit from hotscripts also ( and various chat blogs etc )

Is there anything else I can do to help increase this ratio?

I fear this may just be the fact of life and ive done what i can..

Im more of a programmer than designer and no where near a "SEO Expert" But who is?

Any thoughts?

"bounce rate" really isn't a concern unless you are paying for the traffic AND I know people who would kill to get a 5% conversion ratio.

One thing to do is reduce the amount of traffic you get from useless and semi-useless sources. That will improve your conversion rate and reduce the "bounce rate" at the same time.

Thought as much,
Maybe expecting every visitor to sign up is a bit optimistic

Maybe some fresh eyes can spot something that sends people running lol

Impossible to really suggest anything without knowing the stats for each and every page.
