Hi,

I have a website and i am working for traffic on the site, I am doing all SMO activities for getting good traffic.

I am getting daily 200 traffic through facebook. If anyone getting more than 200 daily traffic through facebook then tell me?

Well i have not used facebook for traffic. But i heard that facebook can generate really big traffic for a website, more than 200 daily traffic. And i dont get surprised. Who has not a facebook account these days

That's really cool. I have an FB account but I don't know the techniques of SMO. Can you share which kind of activities you do there?? Or can you share any tutorial from where i can learn SMO??

You know, when i first signed up on facebook i was really shocked. It's so uncomfortable! They have the worst search i've ever seen!!! I don't know what do over 350 million of people do out there.

So i started to learn about how to generate some traffic from there. I created business page and even group for that website i was promoting. I filled out all empty fields in profile to position myself like a human and i was active.
Then i started my social work, i've been searching, adding and communicating with people.
After awhile i cleared up that FB is a nonsense. I had over 1000 people in friend list.
99.99% of them added me without asking "who i am?"
95% of them didn't answer any of my messages.
80% of them talked foreign language (not English or Russian).
Only 65 of more then 1000 were active. I saw them in my chat regulary.
Almost 500 of them joined my group.
Almost 300 joined my business page.
I've been adding new content to group and business page everyday.
And at last only 75 of more than 1000 visited my website in a MONTH!!!! 75 from over 1000 in a month! In a half a year i improved this number to 375 per month. Not even per day!

So i was asking myself all the time: "WHAT DO OVER 350 MILLION PEOPLE DO OUT THERE?!!! "
Answer - nothing! They just act the fool there. They comment stupid pictures of each other, statuses, silly videos, and play farmville and mafia wars.

And by the way 350 million of people is not an exact number, because only my friend has more than 80 FB accounts.

You need to have a cool facebook page to gain some fans... like the big brands do!

their facebook pages are awesome! I'm even thinking of launching one for myself. There are some facebook page templates at http://fbml-templates.net/ - an easy way to start

I did use FB advertising a while back and realized the traffic won't be interested in what i have to offer. So ask yourself who you target audience are and whether they are on FB.

Currently, I am using Yahoo search marketing- which is now merged with MSN(kinda slowed down), and also Yellowreach.com, getting some good results from them too.

I have heard lot about facebook but never tried to go for it , as I think this is just for few days, till it's popularity is there and it is for sure that people will get bored to the same thing. I think it's better to go for other sites rather than goign for social networking sites.

Its good figure but you can get more than that if you have good network to other SMO websites then invite your friends to join at facebook.

The traffic of a website can be increased by creating the fan page and other methods used in facebook and other social media websites.

I've gotten some traffic from facebook. With social media sites you have to learn how to use them. If you don't use them properly you don't get traffic. You have to talk to people get to know what they like and don't like. Once you find out you can introduce your service or product. However, if you are on social media sites only promoting your products or services of course people are just going to ignore you. You are showing no interest in them so why would they show any interest in you?

It is very effective, I do only for one day and now after 3 months still there are 200 users per day.

Fan page best way to increase the traffic on website provided that it should be regular update.

You can try providing incentives exclusive to Facebook users too. One suggestion is to have a contest on your Facebook page, with the end result being a discount on your site. This will drive people to both your Facebook page and your site, and if you keep up a regular contest/incentive, it will encourage people to keep coming back.
