I have some experience in Facebook Marketing campaigns and was able to convert some clients in a relatively short period of time. I think that with the enormous growth of Facebook over Google (see TechCrunch post ) we all need to concentrate our efforts on promoting business on Facebook.

what you think of this?
do you use facebook for your business?

Its great idea. I know that Facebook is one of the best social networking sites where We will promote our websites very well . Other social networking sites such as twitter , yahoo etc are also great place where We will get more traffic and also get best result .

Facebook is a great way to promote your website. I just wish that all the facebook friend adder softwares still worked. They have really stepped up measures to stop you from adding friends quickly. So you just have to do it naturally.

Ive stumbled on that recently myself with Facebook, its strange for a social network to put the block on the social part, and these were legitimate friends!!

In my personal experience, I've found Twitter to be a lot better at reaching your target audience

not much tactics but you should be quite active and make more friends and followers as in twitter but imp twitter is more reactive than facebook

using any networking site to promote your site which help to create brand on internet, but it will not help you to get good back links & high ranking.

Yes Facebook is the popular social network at this time and will really help in advertising. But sometimes people tend to ignore advertisement from the site and sometimes block it because it floods their wall. As this grows there will come a time that they might banned advertisement from the site if people try to over do it from the page. Try to limit that goes in your site.

yes we should go for facebook and twitter. it is very useful, but i have been facing problem now a days on facebook that is so much spamming and irrelevancy of visitors. people have developed many auto tools and applications for facebook and twitter which are the cause of spamming. i am very worried about it bcoz it produce your bounce rate higher which is not good.

with the continues growth of facebook, yes it would be good..but then it depends on how effective your strategies would take effect...
