Hi all,

My company is currently using PPC advertising on Google. We want to start using Facebook advertising as another method of driving traffic to our website.

1. Are there any tools that help migrate existing AdWords campaigns to FB?

2. Are there any tools to manage, optimize, and/or track FB campaigns?

3. What types of advertising are most effective on FB (fan pages, groups, advertisements in the right column leading to an external web page, to a fan page, to an event, etc.)?

4. What are the biggest problems companies have when using FB advertising (especially for those that are already using SEM)?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I also want to learn more about this, so ill help bumping it up so some more people can see. I want to get more into social media marketing.

Perhaps, facebook doesn’t allow links properly. But still, facebook advertising gives you instant results because hundreds and thousands of people use this social community on daily basis.

I am only an amateur and ran some Facebook ads (right hand column)
I go some good hits to my site and some sales.
But the cost per click went through the roof.
I think larger companies are just bidding too much.

Add your website on your profile. Get useful people. Fill in the interest and activities sections with your business interest or the interest of the clients or people you are looking for, not your hobby. You can also create a fan page about your product or services.
