I have confusion about Keywords.
Some body says Keywords should be different for each page.

OR

Some says Keywords should be same for whole site and for every pages in website.

Plz Tell me witch statement is correct.

Regards

Kaleem.

you can also gain extra searches by giving your images names

I think the ALT tag has more weight then the TITLE tag.

I deffinitly think that you should use different keywords on each of your pages, this way you cover more area. Ex your main page keyword could be optimized for webmaster and your subpage could be webmaster resource. I am not saying that either of those keywords would be logical to optimize for but its always best to try to cover as much area as possible if you can.

Personaly I would put very little stock in the meta keywords as few engines still use them. They are used to much for spam purposes. Focus more on the title and the meta description tags. Those are used much more heavily. Don't get me wrong either, still use keywords if you like, I would just only put maybe 6 top keywords on any page, and yes I would use different keywords for different pages depending on the content.

They have two different purposes. The alt atribute is for images while the title atribute is for links.

Page titles and <Hx>s are far more important than meta
