personal reference vc an affiliate info - what's better?
is mostle about - what area you implement it

If you share the info that an iphone 3 is 20 USD cheaper on this vendor than everywhere - it's a very useful bit of info that really talks for itself - for
the subject of the message is very clearly stated in one line and personalizing it or sharing personal experiences here would be purely a waste of time and even look strange. An iphone is an iphone and I know where it's cheaper, see the link pal!
However, if its about goods and services where personal experience and impression around it - IS the main value factor - thats were a good friends opinion is really adding to it!
Travelling, books, concerts wedding services, a fitness center - anything that's either just cannot be so well
described "unpacked" - or hard to compare to other similar offers.
That's where reference from a trusted source is so welcome and people look for it - rather than plain specification ana a price tag
