Hi-I need advice or clarification. I want to use a mailing list to send news to my subscribers. My host does not have mailing list software so I have to use a third party mailing list service to collect addresses and send out mailings. So far, I found that in order to use them I must provide a PO mailing address at the bottom of each email I send out. This is because of the CAN-SPAM act. I have received email newsletters that do not feature a PO mailing address, so I'm confused. How is that they were able to bypass the PO mailing address requirement? To clarify, the emails are not posts from a blog, but crafted especially for a mailing list.
Thank you for any enlightenment you can provide.
