I received an enquiry from a guy who wishes to by a very popular site of mine. The site is in a niche catering to an area that is part of our everyday life and is essential. It will not go away.
The site makes around $9,000 a month but I spend $2,000 a month on content writers because it requires updating daily. The writers publish the content without me having to do any of the work. 80% of the revenue comes from adsense.
All the traffic is high-quality traffic with 2/3 of it coming from search engines and some repeat traffic as well as some from social sites and few from otehr sites linking in.
The site is 6 years old.
The site makes approximately $85,000 or so a year. The upside potential of this site in terms of traffic and revenue is high.
How much would be willig to sell for? I know different sites have different value but a rough estimate will do.
