Making backlinks? or Gaining backlinks?

You can get backlinks for your website through blogging, article submission, forum posting, and also from blog commenting (but the last one depends if you'll get approve!)

Well all these methods are useful in link building but I want to suggest you to keep more attention on blog commenting (dofollow blogs), and Forums postings...

You can get backlinks by doing forum posting and blog commenting on do follow sites but make sure your post is relevant and has sense so that you will not classified as spammer.

The only way I know how to get backlinks is by writing articles and submiting them to article directories with your anker text, blog commenting, forums posting, press release.

Beside forum commenting, blog commenting, I think profile backlnik may be new one, but it is not that much effective.

Link Exchange is not a new thing in SEO. It's an old school method.

And most search engines devalue link exchanges nowadays. Google discourages it for starters.

Link exchange is just another way of submitting your links, It at least increase your link popularity.
