1. SMO,Link Exchange and Directory Submission
2. Post your site articles URL in forums.

You can start commenting on blogs related to your keywords or business, you can share your websites link with lot of social media sites as well, try writing articles in various high pr article sites, also you can submit your website information press release sites. this will increase your website traffic.

You guys are all RIDICULOUS and SPAM!! Mr. Jim Gillum didn't asked how to increase traffic but said that this question was already explained many times in this forum and if you want information related to Traffic, use the search function to find answer. First off you are a spammer. You have three offers in your sig. All the posts you are referring to, have good ideas to get traffic,Which incase you haven't noticed...is exactlly what this thread is about..."HELP ME GET MORE TRAFFIC" or did you miss that???? or help in search engine ranking, which gets you traffic. People interested in getting traffic look at what others are doing to achieve this. Just because the originator of the thread was satisfied with the answers doesn't mean the thread is dead, if it were, it would be pulled from the discussion. 1- you must have a good and hot content.
2-you can use a Articles Marketing (e-zine, squidoo....ecc).
3-you can use Email marketing.
4- submit your website to directories and search engines.
5- create many back links.

Just an idea like, put some interesting content on your site for the traffic you are targeting, may seem a tad old fashioned and that, but most people searching want to find what they are searching for, I mean if I wanted to find the life span of man killing Thai ducks I'm probably not interested in Chinese restaurant menus.
