What do you think, what is more effective to attract customers/clients for small businesses, TV Ads or Web Marketing? And why?

TV ads for sure but how many of us would have such a budget? To be honest if you could afford TV ads, you would saturate the market by doing both TV and web campaigns side by side. It's all about brand awareness.

If you had to choose between the two I would suggest web marketing. You will get much more "bang for your buck"!

Of course, this finding is largely dependent on what type of business is being operated, perhaps if you share more I could assist you a bit more!

both. If you really want your business to be successful, you should never focus on only one marketing plan. The TV and the web were two of the most powerful medium. Therefore, using them for your business campaigns are vital.

Because adds which comes during famous drama serial or movies are always in peoples mind thats why if you can afford go for Tv adds

I don't think TV ads are anywhere cheap these days. Web marketing would be a much better option if you ask me as you can target audiences more precisely.

You should absolutely do web marketing if your promoting a web site. However if you can also afford the high cost of TV ads these are the most massive source of watchers, everyone watches TV. I honestly know nothing about how to advertise on TV and how much it really costs cause I've never had any kind of budget for that anyway.

TV ad is very expensive but on the other hand I think that it's more effective for short time periods, but everytging depends on your budget, if your add will appear at 4 pm on Monday...this is not really nice.

tv add is good bcause most people see tv and some % people dont have aby idea about web
so tv add is good way
but if you can afford both so this is very best for your business

Tv adds is too costly.. most of the people will skip the add .
compare to tv add web add is free and cost effective

TV advertisements would be a great way to market your website to new audiences, but like others have said they are probably way too expensive for most. Radio advertisements during morning and evening commute times might be more cost-effective.

Agreed. If get enough money, TV ads is better, reputation is the best advertisement.

Watching TV is most common hobby among all the people. TV advertising is the best way to get a market and brand name of the new product which can show the product type, price, quality, quantity, colour and weight to the audience. moreover it has ability to convey your message with sight, sound and motion. really i like this idea to get popularity of the product in the market.

Well, as said @ Pingpie, do agree that Radio advertising is also picking up these days.

TV advertising is also not a bad option than web marketing, but it all depends on the type of product, the users you wish to target for this product. A small survey carried by you will help you in analyzing things far more better.

If you are looking for genuine users, then go ahead with what you have fixed!!

I would say both work very well.

If you have the budget, go for TV ads.
Otherwise, web marketing is also very effective.

However, to create our brand awareness, I would think go for both (as long as you have the budget). In this way, you can reach out to even more people.

On the other hand, we also have to decide who is our target audience (are they usually online?)

Definitely web marketing because in tv ads you pay lot of money for impressions and you dont know how much impression you will get, cause many people will see other channels when there is ad in the current channel. So its only useful for day-to-day products. On the other hand in web marketing you pay for pay to click or pay for impression, in these both cases you know the accurate statistics and pay only for what you want.
