My friend seek my advice on his plan about putting up an online store one o0f the questions he would like to know is how to install paypal as a means of payment to any goods and services the buyers would like to purchase online. Any advice to make sure everything is secure and any tips or pointers?

If you are using PayPay or any other payment processor or merchant gateway YOU do not need to be secure as your site/page never handles the payment transaction.

Your site only needs to be secure when you are taking customers financial details (credit cards, debit cards bank accounts etc) directly.

One of my friend is using paypal gateway for the payment transactions on his site and he and his clients never had any problem with paypal as it always use secure connection.

you dont have to worry much about paypal security for the site itself has a good security settings.

Paypal is very much secure and is being widely used on large scale by large and small organizations.

PayPal is secured. You can login to your account and choose Website payments options. They have a walkthrough and free buttons you can put on your website.
