Rhyming slang for simple? as in not quite all there.
A small "blimp"
Sorry but it doesn't shout "brandable" to me.

yahoo, skype, twitter,google...have already been taken.....
Seriously......we had some fun....but it really does not have that "ring"......
Would never have believed a "twitter" would fly so high....
Consider a name that has the potential to fit in a jingle, a rhyme, a poem.....
anything that would stick to your prospects...

Indeed, however it could be used for some child resource. It is associated with something small and tiny.

Are you making the ' blimple ' by combining the words of all other names. Make it something creative..

Funny how subjective it is, not saying it;s good or not.
This is the first forum to associate it with simple, most associate it with blimp and pimple meaning a really big pimple lol or some say a but pimple.
When I heard this I thought this domain has to go then I thought about Google it's goo and gurgle together, that even more gross and weird.
Branding a new word is weird business but I think the main thing is it needs to be catchy and rememberable (also a new word).

Funny because it's really a mis-spelling of googol (ie.. 10^100)

Actually, the word google as spelled predates its use as a brand name; it really means "to look all around". Its use was usually in the form "googly", as in "googly eyes", eyes that pointed every which way.

Also a "googlie", googley" or "googly" is also cricket term for a bowler's delivery that has reverse spin and it aimed at the wicket intended to land in the batsman's foot area, making it very difficult for the batter to get a good swing.

willcode4beer said googol.
According to Larry Page:

Like Larry Page, review your/business goal and use it as a basis of your brand. Before having Google, it was BackRub
It is not enough to be catchy or easily remembered, it needs to stand as a definition of your business or your goal.
Why did you come up with Blimple? I think you need to tell us the reason first.
