Though I have an unbelievable amount of Youtube usernames that I registered, I have yet to post a video. Currently I am studying Sony Vegas. I just purchased a video camera. A rare bird it is, as it's one of the few consumer camcorders that has a viewfinder, which is one reason why I aquired it, I had to have a viewfinder on it. As a viewer, here's my take (not my favorite method but it is workable) on how to get a lot of views:
Use footage of sexy, scantily clad women. Mix in some music. And as one other poster said, find a similar, high ranked video and note the keywords they used. A video that appeals to man's little head (and that would be the head located below the waistline) are videos that garner a lot of views. Just be careful about the music you use. Ideally you'd like to use good sounding, copyright free music so your video won't be deleted, which would be a major bummer if your video garners a lot of views only to be deleted weeks or months later.
