Is it a registered charity? What are its purpose and aims? Do you have any major donators? Who?

There are too many loony right wing groups out there, praising the Lord and passing the ammo, to step in without info.

Hello sorry for not giving you more info had to make it quick before we closed up,

Question 1 : Is it a registered charity?

No it is not, but only because its based in northern Ireland. Northern Ireland do not have a service for you to register a charity that only happends in England, Scotland and wales.

Question 2 : What are its purpose and aims

We are a charity for the elderly but we plan to expand to several services one our elderly fund has out grown itself. Our main aim currently is this winter to give close to £500,000 in supplys/fuel to elderly in northern ireland. And our main goal for 2012 is to become the largest charity in Northern Ireland to to start expanding to England

Question 3 : Do you have any major donators ?

No currently we are working of public donations but it is mounting up to what our weekly goals are and we are hoping this website will help us alot too

:: Additional information ::

We do have a charity shop and we also have a weekly auction going quiet successfully but if we plan to expand we need our name out there

Proof we are a charity ?

There has been several news reports about us in the newspapers // not national of course just local :P

Making a site and then generating income from that site requires a good amount of time and money to get return. However if your charity is unknown then people will be less desired to make a donation for sure.

We have set aside money for the site and the amount of time does not matter.

But we do need help and as we said we would give an amount of the sites income to the person that helps us but you need to keep in mind this is a charity and us personally make no money of the work we do for the charity

The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland was set up in 2009, though is still something have a toothless dog having little or no power to enforce registration as yet. Though you SHOULD be registered as a charitable organisation with HM Revenue and Customs and therefore any accounts you have published should be a matter of public record.

And does this organisation have a name? So interested parties can use due diligence and research your claims.

Yes we have already gave in an application to them but we are yet to get word back.

and to register with The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland you need to have you charity going for 1 year and it needs to have gave £5,000 to charity... we already hit our £5,000 but we are waiting for another month until we are 1 year old

the charity is called Action 4 Elderly and it is located in banbridge, northern ireland

It will be better if you have a website promoting this project.

I believe that the idea of wording the question as it is

Does imply that there is a website in existence, just that the OP hasn't revealed where it is or what it is called.
