Look for some newsletters like site pro news, absolute conections, etc.

You can also pick up alot just by reading forums.

Why not use a free traffic or banner exchange?

You display banners on your site, get credits and your banner gets put on loads of sites!

Talk to your friends at school about your website and invite them to visit your site.

Get as many people to join the bulletin board as posible. This way you have alot of return visitors to your website.

Another way to get traffic to your site is to look for relevant link exchanges. These help to show that your website is "connected" to the outside world. This also helps getting your website indexed and spidered by search engines that deliver quality traffic to your website.

i used to think i was the youngest here, but then i really am older than what my avatar suggests...

Hey, it's nice to see I'm not the only young 'un on the board and that people of our age are welcomed, not flamed.

I often find it inconvenience to state my age in the same context as my website as people tend not to take you seriously, but this once I will...
