perhaps a bit 'grayhat' but may be of interest to some..

Since google is auto-whitelisting metadata and microformat information on websites (such as that specified using hReview) it's possible to game the system by manually placing your desired hreview code on your pages to get 5 stars and great ratings and a rich snippet on your SERP listing on google.

how to (mis)use microformats to increase your organic CTR

obviously you don't need to go Over the top like the example.

Interesting. I haven't seen any site's page source that does this.

Nope you shared something totally unproven and is an opinion as a fact.

Unless of course you wrote that piece and were simply link dropping it.

If there is something that can be used to demonstrate validity or substantiate the claim, then show it, without that it is merely an anecdotal claim from some source that may or not be reliable.

Also you should lookup what a forum "troll" actually is.

My comments are simply asking you to provide more than opinion, there is more than enough mis-information regarding search engines so adding to it serves absolutely no benefit to anyone.
