I really like pay per click (ppc) sites. It gets you in the search engines fast and as high to the top as you want.

Spend time building more incoming links, that ultimatly solves most problems webmasters have with traffic.

Getting good quality inbound links is the best idea. Try to link to websites that have content relevent to your own. Don't just go for anyone who will link to you. Be choosy.

PPC is a good idea, but costs money.

A blog can work, but will involve more work and this line is beginning to be over-used and noticed by the major search engines.

Avoid mass-submit programs, you could easiler end up being listed in link farms and subsequently banned from the search engines. You only really need to get listed on the main 5 or 6 anyway.

Get good links and the listings will come, be prepared to wait, however, it can take a few months.
