I have a couple of old sites. There in google and so if I posted like 3000 links to my new site what would happen? Would it help my site or hurt my new site? Would that be like spam or something? It was just a idea I had....

Linking from the most relevant pages on the old sites to the new shouldn't be an issue, but suddenly coming up with 3000 ROS links is very likely going to earn another few weeks/months in the "sandbox"

So starting a page and adding a few thousand links to my site will only slow my page rank and site growth down?
