Hello. I am wondering if anyone has any idea on what I should use on www.putpic.com

I get about 40,000-50,000 hits a day. Does anyone know which ad agency would do best on this kind of website?

Have you tried applying for FastClick?

Or just using AdSense?

im stumbled on how you get that many hits per day when you site has no PR rank, listed poorly on alexa, 8 indexed google pages all containing SIDS

how are you getting these 40,000 hits per day?

It says I get that many hits..Im using webalizer in my cpanel and it says I get about 40,000 hits a day.

What does Pages, Visits, and Sites actually mean in webalizer?

The site is still new, doesn't the PR take time to update?

Webalizer says i get like 180,000 hits a day , and the max ive gotten is like 1000 or something . o.0

PutPic, hits aren't really a useful measure for site traffic. Every request to your server is counted by a hit. That includes 1 for any image on the page or any external file you're using.

As an example your 'top 50' page has over 50 images. When I just visited that page your server recorded over 50 hits. If 20 people view that page then you've gotten over 1000 hits, but hardly anywhere near that amount of visitors to your site.

Unique visitors are a record of the different users that come to your site. If I go back to your site momentarily I won't be counted as another unique visitor though I will be counted again after a longer absence. Page vews are how many pages have been viewed on your site. That visit I made to your 'top 50' page will count as one page view.
