Could you help me out on best ways to advertise my new site once its up.

www.world-adverts.com - i am looking for tips on how to market it so I can make some money from it

I think the best thing to do is just optimize it for search engines first of all and then look for trading links and banners and whatever.

I think you should not worry for marketing a site so early. I think you should add more content in it with proper SEO and right keywords. It will help to improve search engine ranking so as to increase traffic. IMHO, your site needs reviews from expert people. I think you should post your site in website reviews section.

Pixel sites WONT be the next big thing.

They are a fad, and only 1 site is making money from it. The rest are just copycats. They are of interest to websurfers at all.

I would go as far as saying that the fad is just about over....

u got a point that is what I heard...but I believe that there will be alot of copycats.

Yep, just more sites that the owners will abandon and become useless dross, much like the hundreds of "directories" that get lauched weekly. Most of which will be abandoned when the owners/operators realise just how much work is involved to keep them maintained and they are not the greatest thing since sliced bread for earning money.

Can you explain more about this?
Do you maintain copyright of your articles?

Is this a good way to publicize a writer's website? seems a little shady.

Can you send out news releases this way?
