Is it generally the done thing to insert your own name as the author of an article, or do people avoid this, i have no problems with using my own name, just wondering if others do that too.

Ive been saying to myself for ages that im going to write articles and kept on putting it off, im about 80% there and may have my first one finished tonight and ready for submission, slightly suprised myself too at what i can put together when i have a go, not saying im a top writer, lol, but imagine i will improve even more with a bit of practice.

If your linking back to a site do you generally place the link within the content of the articles? in a sort of natural way that makes sense.

well i have just had some one do one for me that is now in google and yahoo news went into day he is realy good and very very cheap

now that he has done that he said i can copy the press reales and put it in as many free ones as i want and i have submitted them with my name on why not its about me so

If you wrote the article then put your name in as the author.

If it makes sense with the flow of the article and does not sound like an advertisement then you can put your links within the content.

Otherwise , you can place a resource or about box at the end of the article that includes a link back to your site.

I suggest submitting to goarticles and searchwarp to start.

I think you should go thorugh the basic tips for article submission here.
1. There is no problem by putting URL of your site. You should not write a solo Ad for your site. Your article should not read like a promotional vehicle for a particular product or service.
2. You should avoid spelling mistakes.
3. You should avoid including affiliate links in your article to increase probability of publishing.
4. Your resource box should contain brief information about you as an author and a link to your website. It should not look like advert.
5. I would recommend to sublit articles at goarticles, ezinearticles, ideamarketers, freesticky, searchwarp and webpronews etc.
