1) Would it be benificial if i created one article about a certain topic and submitted the same one to loads of article sites?

2) Lets say i own a games website, and i write an article about SEO, would it be ok if i included my link even if the site and the article aren't relavent?

Thanks

The more places you submit your articles the more likely it is that someone will download them and use them on their site. Relevant links would certainly be better, but if you have a lot of links out there it's always possible that someone will click on it and come to your site.

The lack of relevancy to the links though could cause people to leave immediatley if they thought the were going to be taken somewhere else.

I think it's more important to make sure the anchor text for the link is relevant. If your anchor text mentions the link goes to a gaming site then people will (or at least should) know where the link will take them before clicking.

The main purpose of submitting to article sites is not that you have people clicking on your link from such sites. You should expect that webmasters looking for relevant content will select your article and publish your article on their own site. Then visitors to this webmaster's site could come to your site through the link.
